We found a really nice boutique hotel in wonderful location on a hill above Faliraki. Located within walking distance of the wonderful Anthony Quinn Bay, this adults only hotel impresses with its amazing service and beautiful design. On this trip, our focus was on relaxation and sunbathing.
The great pool area is the central square in the Atalanti Boutique Hotel. Comfortable and high-quality loungers and parasols are available in sufficient numbers so everyone will find a great place. The pool itself is divided into two segments. The deeper swimming area is towards the hotel. At the front end towards the slope, the pool becomes a spectacular infinity pool with breathtaking sea view. The two segments are separated by a narrow bridge and three yoga platforms. In this area, there is also the stylish pool bar, where you can enjoy delicious cocktails and wonderfully tasty and light meals for lunch. The price level is perfectly fine and reasonable.
Overall, the public area of the hotel has a modern, minimalist look that is dominated by wood, concrete and metal. There is also a charging station for e-cars.
There are different room categories at the Atalanti. From double rooms with a mountain view to deluxe rooms with their own small private pool to luxurious suites on the top floor with great sea views. We had a room with a terrace and seating area, as well as a private pool and comfortable loungers.
The rooms are stylishly designed and equipped with flat screen TV, queen-size double bed, safe, mirror and seating. The rooms are also very well soundproofed, so we had a very good night's sleep.
There are many beautiful peacocks living in the entire hotel area. They also like to pose for photos well used to hotel visitors
There is a lot to do in and around Atalanti Boutique Hotel. There is a small path down the hill to Faliraki, where you can visit one of the bars or restaurants or enjoy a day on the beach. The Anthony Quinn Bay, which you can reach on foot in around 20 minutes, is really spectacular. It may take five minutes by car. This bay is really beautiful. One of the most beautiful we've ever seen.
From the monastery on the mountain next to the Atalanti Boutique Hotel, you have a breathtaking view of the most beautiful bay of Rhodes. Let's talk about another activity. A hike to the top of the mountain to the hermit monastery is a nice variety from beach life. From Atalanti, you will be on the mountain in about thirty minutes. You are walking along a paved road. The hike is not very difficult, but you shouldn't leave in the midday heat.
The H2O Divers dive center is also located in Anthony Quinn Bay. We did two dives here and felt very well looked after and safe. In the bay there are the typical Mediterranean fish. We were also able to discover an octopus and some historical amphorae. You can also go snorkeling and do other water sports in Anthony Quinn Bay.
We only booked breakfast. In times of Corona, we chose breakfast from a menu and it was served to our table. Usually breakfast is served in buffet form. The selection is really very appealing. Delicious homemade hot dishes are on the breakfast menu every day, which changes a little every day. Choose from juices and various hot coffee and tea specialties. Baked goods such as bread and sweet pastries, cereals, sausage, cheese and vegetables are also on the list. You can choose from eight different egg dishes. There are also yogurt, pancakes or waffles for the sweet tooth. Those who like it savory in the morning order baked beans or sausages. We really looked forward to breakfast every day.
For lunch, you can order delicious dishes such as calamari, fresh salads with melon and feta or burgers and fries at the pool bar.
The Atalanti Boutique Hotel in Rhodes offers its visitors - as an adult only hotel - plenty of rest and relaxation. The location above the most beautiful bay of Rhodes and close to Faliraki is the big plus of the Atalanti. Amazing food and lots of sunshine make the hotel a great destination on the sunny island of Rhodes.
