LOCATION OF THE 66 SAINT PAUL'S

The boutique hotel in Valletta is located on Saint Paul´s Street, in the middle of the old town of Valletta. You are in the city center in just a few steps. Here you will find delicious restaurants and cozy cafés. All sights of the city are within walking distance. Although the boutique hotel is so central, it is still very quiet. We were in town for the 2018 World Cup. At every corner, the bar owners set up small seating areas for public viewing. The atmosphere was just great.

The airport is less than ten kilometers away and easily accessible. Traffic in Valletta is manageable, but parking spaces are few and far between and reserved for residents and suppliers if available. We parked our car in the MCP Car Park Floriana and paid € 10 per 24 hours. From there it is about a 15-minute walk through the pedestrian zone to 66 Saint Paul´s. The location of the small boutique hotel is really ideal for visiting Valletta.

EQUIPMENT AND DESIGN OF THE BOUTIQUE HOTEL IN VALLETTA

As soon as you enter the old aristocratic building, you step through a large, massive door that may have blocked access to uninvited guests. Once in the hotel, you cannot get out of amazement. The mighty inner courtyard, open at the top, forms the center of the complex. With only a few rooms, the hotel impresses with privacy and tranquility. Despite the closed courtyard location, the hotel is flooded with light and the light natural stone walls add to the good mood of the boutique hotel in Valletta.

There are five or six floors in 66 Saint Paul´s - I'm not sure of that anymore. Of course you can always take the stairs, but after a day of sightseeing, you won't say "no" to the elevator either. Even at night, when the reception is closed, there is a contact person in the form of the night watchman in the hotel.

The 66 Saint Paul´s offers a few rooms with a view of the city. We had a room with a balcony facing the courtyard. The balcony is large enough to cuddle up in the comfortable armchairs, relax your feet from sightseeing and enjoy a delicious coffee.

On the breathtaking rooftop of 66 Saint Paul´s, a bar and pool invite you to relax. From here you have the entire old town and the huge natural harbor of Valletta in view. The terrace is equipped with comfortable loungers. The pool is very pleasantly tempered and there is very soothing calm up there. If you want, you can let the waiter spoil you with a freshly tapped beer or a glass of wine. Just the thing after an eventful day in the Mediterranean summer heat.

At 66 Saint Paul´s you book bed and breakfast. The kitchen stays cold at noon or in the evening. For us it was the perfect combination - great breakfast in the hotel and then in the evening in one of the many small Mediterranean restaurants to try the delicacies of the island.
