We have found an outstanding accommodation on the holiday island of Maui, which is ideal for small families, couples or friends as a home base for staying on Maui.
The apartment´s design and the quality of the equipment is truly great.
Owner Stacey organized everything in a smart and perfect manner. You do not have to worry about anything but enjoying an outstanding vacation.
Location and Getting There - Maui Beach Side in Kihei
The Apartment Maui Beachside [ad] is located in the small town of Kihei on the south coast of Maui. The town of Kihei is about 25 minutes by car from Kahului Airport.
Maui Beachside is located in an apartment complex with direct beachfront location.
Due to the elevated location on the fifth and thus top floor, the apartment has a fantastic view over the Pacific Ocean. You could watch humpback whales from the lanai during whale season - starting in December.
In Kihei you will find everything you need. Grocery shopping, craft markets and a variety of restaurants and water sports facilities.
Haleakala National Park Visitor Center is 1 hour 30 minutes from the apartment.

Amenities and Design - Maui Beachside
As I said, the apartment is located on the top floor and is therefore absolutely soundproof. We did not hear any noise from side, below or outside. Here you will sleep like a baby.
Which brings us to the topic: The master bedroom is furnished with a comfortable queen-size bed. In addition, you will enjoy the comfort of air conditioning, fan and flat screen TV.
The children's room has a generous bunk bed, a very large flat screen and also air conditioning.
Both rooms come with a wardrobe.
Our highlight was the kitchen in Maui Beachside. As we plan to build a house the next few years, that was awesome inspiration for our future kitchen.
For us as passionate chefs, it was great to prepare some meals again after four weeks of traveling. Even two cookbooks with local dishes typical of Maui were available.
Stove, oven, a block with sharp knives, enough cutlery and crockery. In addition a huge fridge with freezer, a dishwasher and a nice equipment of spices, vinegar & oil and some sauces. Even salt, pepper, sugar, flour and coffee were available. Really great and sustainable having a kitchen equipped with these things in a rental apartment. Otherwise every other guest would buy all those things and use a maximum of five percent per pack.
All these little things make clear how much commitment, love and experience Stacey has put into the decor and equipment of the kitchen and the whole apartment.
In addition, you can use the great BBQs in the garden of the apartment complex. This always results in really nice conversations among the grilling men. Helping each other and giving tips is a question of honor. ?
Maui Beachside has an open kitchen combined with dining room and living room. So the family stays together. Both while eating and when cooking.
The living room has a comfortable couch, a huge flat screen TV, a Xbox, a sound bar and high speed internet is available throughout the apartment. Use your own NetFlix account or Stacey's if you do not have one.
The dining table seats six to eight people. Four people can eat at the counter of the kitchen.
The apartment comes with two bathrooms including toilet and shower as well as fragrant shower utensils like shampoo, conditioner, body wash, make-up wipes, cotton pads, cotton swabs. Conveniently, you will also find a washing machine and a dryer available.
Kids – small or bigger ones like us – will find some board games and beach toys in addition to the Xbox.
Besides the kitchen – the place to be in Maui Beachside is the lanai. It´s a balcony with a magnificent sea view. Sit and watch on the comfortable outdoor sofa or on the rattan lounger.
That’s the place, where we always had breakfast in the warm morning sun.
The apartment is very thoughtful and high in quality.
The design is very harmonious in the colors white, blue and green. Everything is very friendly.
In Stacey's Apartment there, you will have great fun with many little things, that you will not see on the first step. For example, we loved the guestbook, the Polaroid camera, sockets with USB ports or the Safeway club card.
Check-in is made through the reception of the apartment complex. The door to the apartment opens with a numerical code. Park your car in the parking lot of the apartment complex.
Of course you can also use the amenities of the apartment complex area. Benefit from a large pool, a jacuzzi, a gym or play a game of tennis in one of the two courts.
It´s only a few steps to the beach. Fine-sandy, very bright and falling smoothly into the ocean – you will love it.
We took long walks in the afternoon watching the sunset. Sometimes even a turtle has its head out of the ocean. Unique.

If you travel as a couple, the smaller apartment is the right one. If you are a small family or just four friends, then take the bigger one. If you need more space, then just rent both apartments.
Our host Stacey was available to us throughout the stay. She provided us with important information in advance.
Without her, we would probably have missed to get a reservation for the sunrise at the top of the volcano Heleakala.

Conclusion
We felt so comfortable living in Maui Beachside, Kihei for three nights.
We really enjoyed using the amenities of the apartment and the whole complex.
When we left the apartment and Maui, we had to shed a tear or two.
